I have published a number of novels, short stories, and poetry, and have been teaching and collaborating with other writers for over fifteen years. My goal is to help you develop your communication skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the essential elements of writing (voice, structure, plot, characterization, setting, style, etc). You will write continually, and we will also learn how to critically analyze and learn from the work of other writers. Whatever genre or form you choose to approach, I can help you get the most of your work.

Let me help your son or daughter really excel in Algebra, whether they just need an extra boost to get that solid "A", or they are struggling and need a tutor to help supplement significant weak areas.
I carry an enthusiasm for knowledge and "nerdy" subjects like mathematics and science! I believe in the power of positive reinforcement and aim to foster not only knowledge, but also confidence. Lessons are individualized for the student and tailored to their goals. I am passionate about education

I am a retired U.S Army officer; retired in 2010, after 28 years of service. I served in support of the Navy and with the Marines. I can help pupils with their preparation for the ASVAB, which my son and step-son just took and scored 86 and 89, respectively. My step-son is now serving in the Air Force and my son decided to be a doctor first (cross your fingers). I can also help them prepare to pass the physical fitness tests and achieve the proper height/weight standards. But what I can do best is pass on to them my experience and knowledge about the services, so they can make a much more informed decision about joining and which service to join.
Doing what I love: teaching, training, interacting with people. I retired from the army after 28 years of active and reserve military service, so now I have time to do privately what I did for the army for so many years: teach and train people. For many years I presented seminars in Spanish and E

Having read Christopher's bio, I sensed that there was something special about him, and that he was the right one for our son who has some learning challenges, particularly in the area of Math. I believe it is very important a tutor connects not only on an academic level but also where there can be some light hearted conversation. Christopher arrived punctually for our first meeting and his assessment of our son. In advance of that meeting I had explained to Christopher what the challenges are and what our collective objectives are. As soon as I saw him, he appeared to relaxed but confident. After an initial introduction, I stepped away to let Christopher and our son become acquainted and he immediately set about establishing some common ground which happened to be a particular sport. No more than Christopher, our son is also very perceptive and despite the fact that he initially resisted the idea of any tutor, his words after this first meeting were "I can work with him"! Its obviously early days yet, but so far so good!"
