Noah just finished his senior year at the University of Oregon, where he studied music performance and took part in multiple ensembles. Additionally Noah has had the honor of being selected as a band member for the U.S. Army, where he plays guitar, bass, and provides sound support for all the groups. He has served for over 5 years.

He graduated with his associates degree from Santa Rosa Junior College. During that time he worked under Randy Vincent in Jazz Studies,Will Johnson in Composition and for Prairie Sun Recording Studios as an audio engineer (they have produced names like Tom Waits, journey, Wu Tang Clan, etc..)

Noah is proficient on a host of instruments: from the guitar, bass, percussion, ukulele, piano and banjo. He has worked as a private instructor on all these instruments gaining consistent student approval as he makes learning an enjoyable and rewarding endeavor.

Hi, I’m Meghan! I’ve been playing guitar for over ten years. I will walk you through the basics of any style of guitar playing! How to read music, how to play by ear, how to play chords and put them together to jam on all your favorite songs. I can explain things in a way that is fun and stress-free! I have had success with students of all ages. I have spare guitars to use in-studio for those who are not yet ready to purchase their own.

My lessons are goal oriented and tailor made for YOU! We will discuss in your first lesson what your goals are, whether you have modest goals of playing your favorite songs, or you have ambitious goals to become a songwriter, learn music theory, improvise, improve your guitar technique, etc.

For beginner students the focus will be primarily on getting you able to play songs from artists you love quickly and enjoyably, with a focus on developing good rhythm, technique, guitar care and a solid foundation of chords that can be used in innumerable songs. Theory will be given in small, easily-digestible pieces, and always within the context of actual musical examples. If you're interested in learning to sing while playing, I'll also help you find ways to incorporate it early on so that it becomes more natural as you progress.

For students with some experience the direction of our lessons will be largely determined by your personal needs and goals, but subjects we might cover include songwriting, finger-picking, expanding chord vocabulary, ...
