First thing I do before first day of class is send out a welcoming greeting via email and call a few days before first lesson. We Briefly discuss and establishing the learning goals for the course based on the visual literacy, technical, and intellectual competencies the students should achieve by the end of a period is ideal for me to design the course or update an existing course for the student's desired outcomes. The syllabus and the schedule are completed along with a comprehensive strategy for what will take place during class. Music lessons include: warm ups, exercises, technical and theory work, solfeggio (sight-singing), ear training, repertoire musical coaching, composition writing, preparation for performances and more.

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

I've been taking lessons with Jason for about 5 years, and it's been fantastic. Jason is super-knowledgeable about technique and music theory, and incredibly patient. His lessons have always been tailored for me, and paced to match my level so that I can still make steady progress - and (just as importantly) have fun doing it. I've gone from stumbling to understand how to play, to playing whole songs, improvising, and analyzing progressions, and it's been great the whole time.
I ask a ton of music theory questions and he is more than willing to go into detail about any topic. He'll tab out solos, explain tiny nuances of how to to play riffs, and he knows how to approach everything to ensure that you understand - and that what you learned sticks with you.
If you want to work on a song or a technique, he'll help you do that. If you want to learn music theory, or guitar maintenance, or reading music, just ask, and he'll do that. I can honestly say that I've never had a better teacher in any subject, and that's not an exaggeration."

David approaches teaching based on the goals of the student and not a one approach fits all style.
I highly recommend him."
