My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands. It all one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not having fun while learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. I have had many parents tell me I'm one of the best teachers they have ever seen. (A couple of them were public school teachers themselves). I truly want my students to succeed and I will do everything in my power to help them accomplish that!

Music is a journey. As my student, you will learn more than just the fundamentals of trombone playing and music reading. My goal is to give you the musical skills and knowledge that will put you on the road to becoming a true musician able to perform with confidence in any style or situation.

Hi there! I am a professional trombonist and experienced teacher of 15 years, specializing in beginner, intermediate, and advanced trombone students! All ages welcome. I customize and cater each of my lessons to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be reading and playing beautifully in no time, but you will build skills in music theory, ear training, technique, and more! I take pride in my natural learning approach, where you will be coached to perform in the most efficient and effortless way possible. Let's get started!

I have experience teaching brass: trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and tuba; for 5 years and have played professionally for 15 years. What is your goal? Are you an absolute beginner or are you semi-pro auditioning? I have taught students from ages 7 to 60, beginner and beyond. Whatever role music has in your life, I'd love to help you develop it whether its your hobby or your passion.
