Experienced Music teacher of 8 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of their instrument and theory skills. I specialize in all styles. Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
My students have gone on to NYSSMA and on to college auditions successfully!

I aim to instill a love of music and of the instrument through both student guided song selections from popular genres and movie/video game soundtracks, as well as technical and music reading exercises designed to make my students well rounded and ready for any way they choose to pursue music.

I am a current band director focused on your student's mastery and success on the trumpet. We will work on tone, range, and develop technique through a tailored lesson that will fit you or your student. I am also happy to supplement your child's band instruction and work on area/region honor band auditions with your child.

Profession evaluation patients and understanding for all students who call me for help. My knowledge and understanding of Brass instruments is second to none and i take pride in teaching students in a competent and complete musical manner.

I have been teaching for 32 years and have developed a complete method for progress and confidence from each student regardless of the current level one performs at.

Students begin with the Rubank method and add in Arban's. A strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals of scales, ear training, sight reading, and music theory. Along with this we have fun playing the music student enjoys.
