In my opinion, Allen is a great piano teacher for beginners and intermediate students. Having played in churches for more than 40 years, I yearn for a more challenging piano pedagogy, i.e. Hanon # 31- 60 and Jazz theory. Nonetheless, I strongly recommend Allen IF you have children or adults who are just learning the instrument. They will benefit from his congenial personality and laid back approach.

Allen was both knowledgeable and thorough, which I would expect from a teacher with a college degree in Music. Instead of taking up golf or tennis, I look forward to studying both piano and music theory with him. In fact, I requested that he would at least consider giving 45 minute lessons...smile.

I have a 9-year-old who loves the piano. I've tried a couple other teachers but no one compares to Allen when it comes to teaching my child. Allen was prompt on arrival, patient, and very professional. He understood my concerns and seemed genuinely interested in helping my child to reach the next goal. He was very knowledgeable with his piano skills and appeared to be dedicated to the profession. I'm just thrilled and I would highly recommend him!

Mrs. Lorna is a great coach. She is patient and really wants you to learn. I have no singing experience so I'm starting from 0 and she's really encouraging. I truly recommend anyone who wants to improve to choose her as her coach, I already see improvements in my singing voice when I wasn't even sure it was possible.

About Axel
I found out early on (age of 13) that I had a facility to teach and help friends understand music concepts. Some said it's a gift, others said it's vocation. To me it was just sharing what I loved. Since I had already decided to make music my career I made it a point to learn more and all I could in this field. Three degrees later (B.M /Berklee College of Music, B.M and M.M. /University of Miami) having studied under amazing Masters and years of performing, touring, producing and recording I have a lot to offer anyone, any age, any level when they choose me as their music teacher.

*** Lesson Details ***
My students would describe our lessons as fun and enjoyable. That's because I want everyone to learn the basics of music in a relaxed and comfortable environment. I'm easy going and encouraging in character and make it a point to expla
in in the simplest manner the many concepts of music. I help students develop good habits of practice so they can improve their skills by giving them personal tips. Each student is unique and learns at a particular pace. I'm in tune with the student and move accordingly helping him/her navigate thru the music lesson while providing assistance towards reaching their specific goals.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Piano /keyboards/ protools in my studio with living room seating for parents. Coffee/water always complementary. Protools recording studio available for my student singers at discounted rates. Affordable and competitive rates for amateur-professional singers looking to record/produce a demo.

What I liked about Charles' teaching style is that he pushes, but in a very good way. My son took lessons with him, and a lot of times he can have teachers running in circles around him, but Charles was able to instruct in a way that worked very well and kept him focused.

I can help teach jazz piano, classical, contemporary and improvisation.

About Tonya
Hi, there! My name is Antonina and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons for over 10 years and although I help foster technically advanced students, I mostly pride myself on the fact that I help students fall into a lifelong love with music! Although with time students tend to lose their interest due to the self-discipline required to succeed at playing an instrument, I make sure to offer a fresh, inspirational, and engaging approach to my lessons. I introduce many different styles, performance skills, composition, and most importantly the ability for self-expression through music. I have been playing, teaching, and performing my entire life and have a huge passion to share the gift of music!

All piano students should be prepared begin to learn in the classical style. This course of study covers all the basics necessary to study all genres of music and will insure students learn the rudiments and technique needed for more advanced studies. Piano students will be exposed to different styles of music as they progress and will also study and practice music theory, ear training, sight reading and learn about the history of music.

About Ednelle
Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, I started playing the piano at the age of 9. Throughout my childhood, I took part in a wide variety of performance and competitive opportunities including but not limited to being featured on WXEL radio. My journey took me to Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts where my passion or music blossomed and created even more opportunities in music eventually leading me to win the Florida Atlantic University Dorothy F Schmidt College of Arts and Letters Concerto and Aria Competition.

I currently hold a Bachelors of Music in Piano from Florida Atlantic University under the tutelage of Dr. Edward Turgeon of the Duo Turgeon. While studying Piano Performance at FAU, I also had the opportunity to study Graduate Piano Pedagogy under Judith Burganger. I have been teaching music on and off for the
last 10 years while working and attending school full time.

Music has a way of reaching us all and helping us become more sensitive, compassionate, creative people. The study of music has been linked to better test scores, more creative minds, and increased critical thinking abilities. For adults returning to music or picking it up for the first time it can be a rewarding hobby, a hidden passion or desire, or a change of schedule.

Music can be for anyone!
