I have been personally playing the piano for almost 40 years. I use several approaches depending on student's specific learning process and goals. No one leaves their first lesson without playing something on the piano.

This is a high-quality studio. I strive to help students achieve goals small and large. I believe establishing proper technique and efficient practicing habits early and quickly opens doors.

My goals are:
-Provide a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere that inspires growth in and outside of music.
-Inspire a life-long love of music.
-Provide optional performance and competition opportunities in the community.
-Develop a work ethic that crosses over to other areas in life.
-Most importantly, we have fun at this studio.

I have taught piano for 30 years. I teach all styles of piano. My students enjoying performing as soloist, accompanists and ensemble. Many have attended music camps and participate in their school music programs.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and continuing an emphasis on early childhood development. I started with piano 20 years ago (it’s shocking to see how time flies). Along with my students, I am still learning. It’s a non-stop learning however it is such a remarkable experience. I make sure the student gets the learning they deserve as well as meet their music goals. I do provide the necessary materials to get the student started and keep track of their musical progression. Piano is my main instrument and the one I enjoy teaching the most. I think it is approachable, versatile, and immensely rewarding. I recommend piano lessons to anyone with an interest in music, as it is an amazing tool and perfect foundation for studying music.
