One of the most versatile styles of guitar and one of the most fun styles to teach as there are near endless ways to play.
Things that I focus on start out with simple chord knowledge including voicing and progressions, and simple scale work. If the student is interested, I usually move into the more complex variety of mixing different scales and chords for a more colorful sound.
Heavy emphasis on improvisation at all levels.
About Christian
My name is Christian L. and I am a 29 year old guitar/music instructor in the Orlando area. My interest in guitar began when I was 12 years old and blossomed into a full time obsession about 3 years later when I started playing small gigs as a solo guitarist playing simple jazz and classical pieces

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.
I was self-teaching for about a year before I came to Ahmad. It worked out just fine. I learned something. But I started to get confused at a point where I don't know how to move forward. I like a very specific group of guitarist (mostly Japanese fingerstyle players). And I wanted to learn how to master songs from those guitarist. And there is no such website or book that would teach me how to do that. Most of the guitar books or websites either give out general informations or put all information together as a mess.
Finally I decided to find a teacher. I found the lesson with Ahmad pretty effective. He is an experienced teacher who knows what you need to learn in order to achieve your goal. He has plenty of handouts that really helps me practice. The most important thing I learned from him is the big picture of guitar learning. For example, I learned the connection between scales and chords, why/how to improvise with these, how to go from there to other relevant things, etc.
When I look back over a year, I realize I have wasted some much time and effort trying to teach myself and wish it could have similar outcome as having a good teacher. Studying with Ahmad saves me so much time and effort (because it's actually easier!)"

Great Teacher & Excellent Musician with Mandolin or Guitar Highly Recommend ."

Long format:
I've had a guitar sitting around my flat for about two years. The only thing I could do, other than looking at it, was playing three open chords very very very badly. And I just thought that playing music wasn't for me and that I didn't have the mind for it.
Because I am stuck at home for the quarantine, I decided to check if maybe I could do something productive with my time and decided to give taking some guitar lessons a try.
Doing research online for someone willing to teach me remotely, I found Nick, and I am thrilled I did.
We have now had only about 6-7 lessons, but he has ignited in me a passion for learning the guitar and also made me believe I can.
He has a style that will accommodate and inspire any sort of student.
In my case, I want to learn the blues. But because I knew nothing about guitar playing, I need someone that can take me through the basics in a structured way where things build on each other. Nick did just that.
The guy is a proper performing musician with a great personality and loads of experience under his belt.
I have been inspired and made confident by his way of teaching, and I want to study with him for years to come."

Learning how to play blues guitar? Pay extra attention to these five things from guitar teacher Mike B.... 1. In Tune Bends The blues guitar style is full of bending strings. Bends, as well as hammer-ons, pull-offs and slides, give guitarists the ability to imitate the way singers use various inflections while singing melodies. However, unlike hammers-ons and slides, bends are not guaranteed to be in tune. Since there is nothing worse than an out-of-tune bend in the climax of a great solo …
