Ukulele Lessons in Bradley, FL

My son has a great student–teacher relationship. It takes the right teacher to help enjoy learning while challenging him to improve with each lesson and not to short any song. Steve's online sound experience has really impressed us.

I played an organ years ago ( I am 70 years old) and lost a lot of skills. I now have a digital piano, but I was not satisfied with my progress.

So I signed up for lessons with Steve. I took piano lessons from Steve for about 18 months. I moved about an hour away, so it was not practical to continue with him.

The lessons from Steve were exactly what I was looking for. He figured out my skill level and set up a plan for me. He stressed the fundamentals while teaching a song at the same time. Being able to play a song, even a simple one, was a great reward. Then we progressed to develop more skills and more interesting songs.

Steve is patient, attentive and a good coach. He genuinely loves teaching and finds that “spark” in to build on. I saw this many times as I would listen to him teaching the student before me.

Steve is a great teacher and I strongly recommend him.

Steve is a great instructor and took the time to work through any challenges and helped our son grow as a drummer. He has a great virtual setup that makes it sound you are in the studio with him.

Even though we had some technical issues with the online training, Reina was able to work with my daughter using my cell phone to give her her first lesson. She could not see what my daughter was doing, so she explained every thing in detail. Hopefully the technical issue on our end will be resolved for her next lesson.

Great teacher. I feel very comfortable during lessons. And I also feel confident that I'll grow and reach my goals with my acoustic guitar.

First lesson was so informative. Jumped right in and he knew exactly where to start with me and what I needed. .Great personality and knows how to teach, that coming from a teacher myself. Looking forward to the next one!

Great Lesson!

My two sons (ages 8 and 6) have been taking ukulele lessons with Nick Russo via Zoom for about 5 months. I have been very impressed with the lessons in every way. He is teaching them ear training, reading music, and technique on the instrument. He is clearly an extremely talented musician, and he is an amazing teacher (I am speaking here as a teacher with many years of studying music in my background). He is able to hold their focus for the entire lesson and redirect them if needed; he breaks the lessons into small chunks to keep them engaged throughout; he mixes music they know with pieces he’s chosen so they are always excited about what they are playing; and he is always positive and patient with them.

Nick R. is truly an extraordinary guitar instructor. He is brimming with technical proficiency, enthusiasm, and a communication skill set that is unparalleled. His ability to hone in on exactly what you are doing wrong and right for that matter means you make progress rapidly and naturally. And he is a nice guy too!!

Such a great teacher! I am an absolute beginner, but feel I am getting better every lesson. Plus, so fun! A +++++

Cindle is a great teacher and is patient and encouraging! My first lesson focused on assessing my ability and she gave me some tips to begin improving. I look forward to getting better!

Sarah has been a wonderful voice instructor for my son. She connects with him, keeps him focused and engaged, all while allowing him to have fun while he is learning. She tailors the lessons to him each week, and spends time sending us practice materials and notes after each lesson. He looks forward to his lessons each week!!

As an adult learner, I was nervous about taking my first piano lesson. I had always wanted to learn coming from a musical family but was hesitant to start. From the minute I showed up, Sarah welcomed me in and explained the basics of the piano and what the white and black keys were named and how half steps and full steps work on the piano. She taught me the correct form of sitting at the piano and what height my bench should be in relation to the piano and how to hold my wrists correctly. As a math person, she indulged my curiosity about ratios and drew a fantastic visual about the circle of 5ths that is still the best visual have to do this day. Better than anything you could find online. She gave me warm up practices for my fingers and told me of a great beginning piano book for adults. She also helped me deal with the frustation of my left hand (right hand dominant) not doing what I wanted it to do and what my brain was telling it to do and gave me tips on how to practice my left hand and not be frustrated. I moved and was sad that I couldn't continue in person lessons but am very happy that she offers online lessons. Sarah is a very kind person and made me feel not stupid when I messed up or felt like I was asking a "dumb question." With her background in teaching music and her immense knowledge of different instruments she is able to explain things in a way where it "clicks." If you're looking for a good music teacher you cannot go wrong with Sarah. She's lovely and makes learning the piano fun and not frustrating (which can happen at the beginning especially with the non-dominant hand) but Sarah knows how to handle any problem that may arise. She loves seeing her student's succeed and with her as your teacher you'll fall more in love with the learning process than you ever imagined possible.

Our daughter loves taking lessons with Sarah. We are very impressed with the lessons each week and her progress. The lessons are well organized and perfect for her age.
