Experienced Music teacher of 8 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of their instrument and theory skills. I specialize in all styles. Typically, I use a variety of method books to pick from to meet the needs of the students. I also have many tools available to use during lessons.
My students have gone on to NYSSMA and on to college auditions successfully!

Danielle K. is an aspiring performer and Music Educator. She holds degrees in both Music Education and Performance from Gordon College Masters of Oboe Performance from Boston University.

She began her career as an oboist with the Warwick Symphony Orchestra in 2011 and a year later became a member of the Ocean State Summer Pops Orchestra, where she now sits Principal. This Pops Orchestra occasionally features Ms. K. in small works such as “Gabriels Oboe” and larger scale concerti.
Since at Boston University she played with the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, Danielle has played with various ensembles including the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. She continues to play with these ensembles as well as Brandeis University, and Wellesley College Orchestra where she serves as a mentor to the wind students. Great reeds are vital for oboists and I can help with buying advice or learning to make your own reeds! I can also adjust your reeds or sell personalized reeds in person or via mail.

For students wishing to broaden their musical insights, I also can incorporate music theory and history into the lessons - subjects that I teach at the college level.
