Hi! Thank you for stopping by! I'm Jenn! I have been teaching ASL for 5 years. I learned ASL a little differently then most people. I grew up with a deaf aunt and learned sign language receptively first. When I became older I wanted to communicate back so then I started signing myself. I am very p

I love music and want others to feel the same passion I have for music. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, acting as a universal language that provides a unique way of empathy and connection in our lives.
As a teacher, I like creating a personally tailored repertoire that challenges and explores that specific student's potential and strengths. I value progress and skill-building, but over all, I want my students to be happy and excited about whatever music we're working on!

When I'm struggling with a new concept or a difficult technique Diane has the flexibility and patience to help me improve. In our first year, Diane showed a lot of patience! Diane motivates with praise and boosts my confidence while continuing to challenge me.
Diane is excited about music and teaching -- it's a way of life, and the enthusiasm is contagious. When your teacher is excited about your lessons, you will be too."

My daughter needs a patient and consistent type of teacher, and after a couple of months, Tony and Natalia were working together quite well, as her progress has shown. Of course, Natalia put in the the practice time as well, as she is not quite a musical prodigy, so she has had to work. Tony has supported her all along and been flexible with lessons and time as needed for upcoming events.
My son took saxophone lessons for the last 3 years as well. While quite talented, he doesn't like to work and focus on his music, so he only just almost regional 3 years in a row. That's not really Tony's fault, as he tried to show my son how to get the most out of his practice time, but regardless of talent, music takes work.
I'd gladly give Tony 5 stars for clarinet, as that is his principal instrument, and he is a great clarinetist, but my kids took flute and saxophone from him, which are instruments he doubles on professionally. However, Tony is an honest person, and he would let you know when the time comes for a change to a higher level professional on the secondary instruments. Most students will not ever get there, although it could happen for students planning to make a profession of musical performance."
