My teaching curriculum emphasizes on proper breathing and vocal placement to ensure vocal improvement within a few weeks of lessons. All of these terms may sound scary, but I believe that singing should be a joyful experience and one that will be a positive change in your life and those around you. I teach all genres of music and specialize in audition preparation. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations while having a blast.

I have been teaching voice professionally for one year now and I love it. I am currently working for the metropolitan opera as a professional singer, so I know what it takes to become succesful in this business, and I feel passionate about helping new singers in every genre find the vocal technique that will let them sing for the rest of their life. I intentionally do not have a specific curriculum, because I believe every voice is unique and in turn requires unique feedback. So book me and let's make music together!

What are your singing goals? From singing in the shower and feeling like a rock star or for a role in a regional show, as a gigging musician or preparing for professional auditions, my students and I work closely together to get progressively closer to your goals. I have a 15+ year professional performance career as a singer in Musical Theater, Rock/Pop and Jazz and received my degree in Vocal Performance from NYU. Teaching informs my performing and performing informs my teaching. I am a voice nerd and love to continually educate myself on latest vocal research and methodologies. I believe in a hybrid approach of technical and scientific with freeing yourself up to your own self expression and your unique artistry. Since I started working with students of all ages (seriously my youngest student is 2 and my oldest is currently 66) I can not imagine ever stopping. Working with students of all levels and ages is always unique, and fun. I can't wait to get started with you!

I have over 10 years of vocal training, in classical, musical theater, pop and jazz. I graduated Belmont University in 2015 with a degree in Commercial Voice. Not only can I teach you all about the voice & anatomy, I can give you a great foundation for music theory and songwriting. I want to teach you to have the most natural, best sound your voice can produce without getting worn out. Additionally, I want to teach you how to properly run your own sound at a gig and know the foundations of running your own rehearsals/band.
