Alayne was an absolutely amazing vocal instructor! I needed her to help me prepare for an audition and she helped me immensely! She is able to explain things in a way that is very easy to grasp, she truly improves the way you sing. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor!

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.
By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.
As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.
Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.
During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. "I just wanted everyone I knew in music to know and use what I was learning, or had learned from the music classes, professionals I had been meeting and working with, and my overall music life experiences". By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.
"Music is an adventure, but without the foundation and passion I had as a child, I would have never landed where I did. I truly LOVE to teach and share what I know about piano, and the world of music. Music is what I know, and know best. Helping to create a solid foundation and build confidence in someone embarking on a journey in music is the most rewarding profession I have ever had the honor of participating in."
*** Lesson Details *** Natalie enjoys teaching students of any age, but specializes in piano, voice and beginning guitar, tailoring lessons to each individual's goals and reasons for learning whether it be for personal pleasure or professional performance.
Keeping things lighthearted and fun, Natalie breathes confidence into each student using her sense of humor, and down-to-earth personality.
Feeding off 40 years of personal and professional experiences, Natalie patiently listens to the student's desires, needs and notates their learning patterns, allowing for growth at their own pace.
Natalie's goal is to Make Music Matter to you and create a foundation that will allow you to continue to find joy in making music for the rest of your life.

I am a laid back teacher and I try to be flexible in every aspect of my teaching. I try to make fun every lesson for a student. I give the students to play some familiar easy songs in order to improve their playing skills.
*** Lesson Details *** My teaching methods are the Suzuki and the classical teaching method. The Suzuki method is based on learning the music by imitation of the teacher and later learning the music alphabet while the classical methods (such as the Essential Elements for Strings-M. Allen) emphasize parallel work on learning the notes and playing songs. I expect that after three months my students learn a basic technique of playing their instruments, to be able to read the notes, and play at descent level (which would correspond to the level of the Suzuki book 1 or the Essential Elements for Strings book 1-M. Allen
*** Studio Equipment *** piano in the Florida music studio, I have a piano at home,
*** Travel Equipment *** I will give information to my students regarding the instrument and other important equipment.
*** Specialties *** I teach Suzuki and classical method (Essential Elements for strings by M. Allen). Through the Suzuki method young children master basic musical skills, improve listening ability, and acquire physical comfort with their instrument and with performing. Intermediate and advanced students learn to read music, improve technical proficiency, and play skill specific repertoire. Essential Elements for strings is designed to guide students gradually through the development of pedagogical and musical techniques necessary to become a proficient, well-rounded musician through a carefully planned succession of pieces.
Pitch matching, chord sonority, sight singing, solfege, you name it, I can teach your ears to do it.
With a degree in classical voice and over 10 years of teaching experience, I can help you reach your musical goals! Using proven methods, you can learn the techniques necessary to sing like the pros or make the ivory keys of your piano dance!
My teaching style would be best described as fun and flexible. I'm a total stickler for proper technique and classical learning theory, but I also give my students the power to choose what repertoire they work on. I often tell my pupils, "I don't really care what you're playing or singing, as long as you focus on the fundamentals learned in lessons". I believe students will practice music they like, so I encourage them to pick songs they enjoy hearing. The concept that purposeful learning can be achieved using almost any repertoire is at the core of my teaching philosophy.
For me Rebekah was exactly what I needed in a singing teacher. I have been taking lessons with her weekly for over a year and a half and the improvement in my singing ability continues. Rebekah is friendly but no nonsense and put to rest a lot of preconceived notions I had about how to sing. She had endless exercises and drills for me and allowed me to pick my own material. She encouraged me to take risks but also cut me no slack if I was falling short. I would say her lessons were like having a Zen Master as many of her teachings went right over my head until over time when there would be another "Ohhhh now I get it" moment. Rebekah would always build on my previous knowledge in improving my abilities and my understanding of what my body is actually doing as I sing. I've seen her work with all ages and levels of students and I think she is uniquely talented and I feel very lucky to have found her. So if you're looking for an awesome voice instructor this wannabe rock star gives Rebekah P. his highest recommendation. - John Hauser

Rebekah is a great teacher. In just five lessons I feel really comfortable sitting in front of the piano.

Rebekah is very professional and have tons of patience with her students. Definetly improves the way I sing and the way I prepare for songs.
In my opinion, the absolute most important area of music study. Regardless of what you may have heard, ANYONE can build the ability to hear a note and play it back on their respective instrument with little effort. The ability to hear music and translate it to tangible information like notes/frets/keys has been a main focus for basically every lesson I have ever taught. I guarantee that you will be a more successful musician if you have a good ear, regardless of your chosen instrument or genre.
Heavy emphasis on hearing chord types, chord voicing, single notes, rhythms, all leading up to transcribing entire songs.
My name is Christian L. and I am a 28 year old guitar/music instructor in the Orlando area. My interest in guitar began when I was 12 years old and blossomed into a full time obsession about 3 years later when I started playing small gigs as a solo guitarist playing simple jazz and classical pieces for small art clubs and events. Alongside gigging, I also began teaching guitar, ear training, and music theory when I turned 18 and have been teaching full time ever since. During that time I also spent 4 years in music school for classical guitar. Currently I spend my time teaching, recording, and performing various styles including rock, jazz, pop, hip-hop, musical theater, metal, and country.
Throughout the 8 years I have been an instructor I believe I have refined my teaching style to be as versatile as possible to accommodate any learn
ing style a student may have. I am capable of teaching all styles of guitar at any skill level with an emphasis on ear training and general knowledge of guitar techniques.
Slight disclaimer in regards to lesson length, price, and student interest:
Over the past year or so I have tried a new teaching structure that I find to be quite rewarding for myself and the students I have had. My lessons do not have a maximum time limit, meaning a lesson could go for 2 hours, if that is what the student wanted, for the same price as a 45 min lesson.
This may sound strange in that I would be losing out on a large amount of potential money but the simple answer is this: I love music and guitar as well as teaching music and guitar. If we are in the middle of a great topic that you, the student, is really interested in, there is no way that I am simply going to stop talking about it when the "timer" stops and there is no way I am going to charge you more for getting into a topic you want to learn.
I find that students who spend more time in the lessons tend to become more interested in guitar and thus, better at playing. I do have to instill a minimum time limit of 45 mins however, any less is honestly just not enough time to get anything worth while accomplished.
One last thing, music and guitar have made up the majority of my daily routine for the past 10 or so years and have literally paid for everything that I currently own as I have never had any other type of job. What this means is that I take the craft very seriously and I project that in the lessons. Basically, if you are genuinely interested in learning guitar and music at any skill level, I will show you everything I possibly can to let you meet your goals. However, if you do not take it seriously, as in you don't pick up or even think about the guitar except for lesson days, the lessons may quickly feel pointless.
For more information on what I teach, feel free to look into the category entitled "Guitar" as well as any of the other subcategories that you are interested in.
Christian was beyond what I have expected and look forward to our next sessions ...great teacher and took time to show and explain the correct way of playing
April 8, 2019
Lessons with Christian have been very informative and fun. He is not only a talented player, but knowledgeable regarding music theory. Most importantly, he has the ability to teach and communicate concepts and and content in practical ways that are beneficial to the student.
He has been proactive, supportive and will go beyond time constraint in order to take advantage of the moment and accomplish the goal of each lesson.
So far, a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Wow wow wow. I had my first lesson with Christian, and he absolutely blew me away. Super talented musician. He has such a wealth of knowledge of the fretboard, musical theory, and different genres. I am into prog rock/metal and blues. I’ve never taken lessons before, and do not know scales or many chords, and christian identified exactly where to start off. He broke it down to a science and completely demystified the guitar. In small bite sized chunks we went for over two hours. It was a proper class with 1 on 1 personal attention. He is approachable with any question, and helps you understand the WHY of things, not just how to do something, which gives you such a stronger foundation to build off. I cannot wait for the next session.

Hello! My name is Matthew and I am offering piano and voice lessons in your home or my studio. All lessons focused on student's goals and interests. Learn to sight read, play the blues, sing a show tune! I have been working professionally in the performing arts and have 20 years of experience working with all ages, from children to adults, and all levels, from beginners to professionals. I am always thrilled to help a young person uncover their musical ability, guide the experienced musician to further their proficiency, or provide the hobbyist with a fun, creative environment to explore the music they've always loved.
So you want to develop your musical ear through training! Great! I'd love to help you!
I've been singing professionally at Walt Disney World for over 22 years (and still singing there). It is (and has been) a dream job. I sing with The Voices of Liberty at Epcot and The Dapper Dans of Main Street at The Magic Kingdom.
Also, I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Penn State with an emphasis in Voice.
I want to help your musical ear become strong and independent. You'll learn how to sight-read (sight-sing) with ease. Let's get started!
Hello! My name is Kevin, and I am looking forward to teaching you everything I know about music! I've been singing at Walt Disney World for over 23 years (and I still am currently) with the Voices of Liberty, the Dapper Dans of Main Street, and Four For A Dollar. I have a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Penn State University. Even more than singing, playing the guitar, arranging for a cappella, and playing piano, I love to teach! Ever since I was a sophomore in high school, I've wanted to be a teacher of music in various capacities. My favorite aspect of teaching several private students each week is that every individual student has a different story: What is it that you want to accomplish? Would you like to sing, play piano, or play guitar? Would you like training in music theory? Do you want to eventually have a career in m
usic? Will this be a hobby for you? Whatever your goals are, I am excited to know your story.
"I have known Carlos for more than 30 years. He’s always been a real mentor, and a leader for all his students. Carlos is an Innovator and creator of c
utting edge learning programs, he has taught thousands of successful students and has many years of experience as a music educator."
"Krisztina is a wonderful musician and teacher! She is very patient and a wonderful asset to any musician looking to better themselves."
"Billy's approach to ear training really helped me a lot! He went at my pace and made references to popular song a to hear chords that, without context, ar
e hard to hear. He accommodated to my way of learning and went from there. I still use some of the methods he's taught me till this day!"
"She's a really patient teacher, and she helped me a lot. After the lesson with her, I analyzed how to listen to the bass line quickly. She also taught me
a lot short hands for ear training. I hope I could take her lesson again."
"Zack helped me pass my aural theory test! And he improved my site reading tremendously!"
"I have been working with Jesse for a few years now. I am bummed that the subject section of this review only lets me select one subject. Jesse has helped
me with ear training, theory and composition, piano, performance, harmony, and overall musician advice. I cannot think of a more authentic and caring mentor and teacher out there that could be as efficient and helpful as Jesse has been to my career. I have seen a lot of progress in my musical career and my confidence as a musician has grown thanks to Jesse! He genuinely cares about the art and his students, he gets involved in their music careers and makes sure that the lesson is learned. He is familiar with many approaches and works hard for his students. Music is very lucky to have Jesse as a teacher!"
"Carlos is an Amazing teacher, he was a wonderful method."
"I found Howard to be a terrific teacher. He propels and inspires; never manifests negativity - which is what a great teacher should do. His pedigree and q
