Greetings Everyone,

I have been playing the clarinet for twenty three years and teaching private lessons for seventeen years. My education includes two undergraduate degrees in performance from Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA and Boston Conservatory in Boston, MA. My Master's Degree is from Boston University in Music Education. Teaching private lessons is my passion and nothing makes me happier than to see my students succeed in their future endeavors.

About Lauren
I am an accomplished musician who is dedicated with a love of music and desire to help others who want to achieve their highest musical potential. That passion shows in all I do!

I currently teach private lessons in Massachusetts
after school music programs as well as Derry, NH.
I perform with the Windham Community Band.

I have performed with the Brockton Symphony,
played numerous solo recitals, played chamber music, and traveled to Brazil to perform with the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.

I'd love to discuss what musical training you've already had and your goals,
whether they're to turn pro or just enjoy music for the rest of your life.
I have experience teaching many different age levels from age 4-18 as well as adults.

Clarinet lessons for all levels. I use the James Collis "Modern Course for Clarinet" books in my lessons, with plenty of supplemental repertoire including popular music and classical works.

About Dayv
Dayv D. is a Bay Area native who graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in 2012 with a degree in Performance. At Oberlin, Dayv was a recipient of the Dean's Talent Award scholarship and studied with professors Gary Bartz, Paul Cohen, Jim Umble, and Tim Ruedeman. While trained in a wide range of disciplines, Dayv is a huge fan of music from the Baroque Era and insists on performing compositions by J.S. Bach as often as possible.

Dayv believes that students learn most effectively when they are intrinsically motivated, and makes an effort to cultivate this motivation in his students. He is attuned to each of his students' individual goals, and goes the extra mile to help his students achieve them.

Dayv plays Clarinet for the Silicon Valley Philharmonic.

Dayv is fantastic! He taught my 11 year old son the clarinet over the summer. He improved dramatically in just 4 lessons. Dayv drove to our house in Mountain View, which was great. My son really liked Dayv and now loves to play the clarinet.

I whole-heartedly recommend Ryan as a private instructor. My middle school-aged son had enjoyed learning to play saxophone in his school band, but towards the end of his 1st year was getting bored by the slow pace. After beginning lessons w Ryan (through the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music) his interest, enthusiasm & skill improved dramatically & he began to excel as a musician. Ryan was soon guiding him through more complicated compositions, and the joy of playing was evident every time my son picked up his sax. With Ryan’s training, he learned to prepare for auditions, and as a result has won a seat (and solos!) in several State & city select bands, jazz ensembles and every group his school has to offer.

Ryan’s personality was a great fit for my son. He’s very professional, while being completely approachable, patient & encouraging, and his love of music is passed along to his students. His versatility & broad knowledge of musical genres allow him to introduce new directions for his students to explore. With Ryan, my son studied classical compositions and also deepened his interest in Jazz. The chance to work with Ryan on his improv skills was very valuable to him...it brought a new level of confidence & comfort to his playing.

I would recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a private music instructor, either for themselves or for their son or daughter!

There are many ways to cultivate your musical skill whether it's visual, kinesthetic, or auditory. Let's find out which way works best for you!

Most schools do not offer the flexibility in learning styles necessary for you to find your ideal way of processing new information, whether it be visual, auditorial, kinesthetic, memetic, right brain/left brain, etc.

That's why I'm here! I pride myself on working with each individual student on the subtle ways that they learn and form healthy habits. If you have any questions about my teaching styles or methods please ask!

A little more about me:

I have over 10 years of guitar experience, studying under Jazz heavyweights Corey Christiansen, Oteil Burbridge, and Dan Miller. I pride myself in putting my students needs and wants above all else. I wish to impart a love for music onto my students that can only be cultivated by the bond a teacher and their student share, let us learn and grow together!

About Grant

I have also earned a degree in Creative Writing from Louisiana State University for all of the students wishing improve their writing skills!

In addition to freelance work, (weddings, jazz brunch gigs, etc.) I am the lead guitarist for the Funk/R&B band Water Seed and the soul project RetroFit. I attended Indiana University for jazz guitar and have studied under jazz greats Dan Miller, Corey Christiansen, and Oteil Burbridge.

I pride myself in taking a students learning needs and using that as my basis for their specific lesson plan, always on a case-by-c
ase basis, tailored to each individual student. Everyone is at a different waypoint on their path so why would I use a predetermined formula to try and help them, am I right? I am excited to meet and grow with every single one of you, let's learn to love the life we have and let our studies become radiant!

I teach all kinds of disciplines from guitar, mandolin, banjo, and clarinet, to creative writing, meditation, and even astrology. If you have any questions about my teaching methods, skill level in a certain discipline, or anything thing you can think of I would be more than happy to answer you!

Musically yours,

I focus on the fundamentals and on having fun playing the clarinet. In the first lessons we will concentrate on developing good embouchure and hand position so you can create a beautiful sound. We will work on a variety of music, depending on your interests. I can help you master your parts for school bands and ensembles. I welcome students at all levels, and make sure that all of my students recognize the progress they make at each lesson. I look forward to working with you!

About Alessandro
Hi, my name is Alessandro. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from DePaul University School of Music and I have been teaching lessons since April 2015. Mr. Ronnie has been the most caring, patient instructor for my son. Brennen looks forward to every lesson and enjoys his time learning. Being only 10 years old, I was concerned that he would not have the attention span for lessons and end up giving up before he really had the chance to learn. This has not been the case with Mr. Ronnie as he has kept my sons attention during each lesson and helped him learn something new in each lesson where Brennen looks forward to what he is going to learn at his next lesson. If you want someone who is going to take a genuine interest in your child then Mr. Ronnie is the right person for you.
