Nathan R. Windsor Mill, MD

I equally cover fundamentals, technique, tone production, solo rep., orchestral music, jazz and anything else the student might be interested in.

About Nathan

I have been teaching private lessons for close to 10 years and have been an active performer for even longer, playing in all different types of groups, from rock bands and jazz groups to orchestras and brass bands. I studied music at Frostburg State University (Bachelors) and the Peabody Conservatory (Masters). I can teach just about any age and skill level and cover anything you are interested in learning; whether its a certain style, genre, technique or song. *** Lesson Details *** My lessons are laid back, with a focus on perfecting the basics. Most students work out of a method book appropriate to their skill level. Aside from that we'll also spend time learning songs and pieces of the students choice. With the right amount of effort, you'll know your way around your instrument

Great Teacher

Nathan is a great teacher. I had always wanted to learn the bass guitar and had zero experience. He has a great feeling for music and teaches it very well. I really have enjoyed my lessons.

Bryan W. Riverdale, MD

About Bryan

I've recently moved to the College Park area of Maryland to pursue a Masters Degree in trombone performance at the University of Maryland. I'm looking to build a low brass studio in the area to bring success and great education to the area. I can teach students all the way to their first notes to students mastering solo rep. I've taught a large number of students in Virginia and have had great success in teaching. I try to set goals and performance dates for students to keep moving and learning. Feel free to contact TakeLessons with any questions!
