    Acerca de Stephannie M.

    Dr. Stephannie's career spans three decades, specializing in musical theatre and classical voice for professional and pre-professional singers. A sought-after audition and performance coach, her award-winning students perform on stages across the US, Europe and Asia. Dr. Stephannie holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Miami. She is an active clinical researcher of voice pedagogy and vocal health, specializing in strategies to prevent and rehabilitate voice injuries in musical theater singers. Other areas of research include the use of mindfulness practices in the voice studio and techniques to support total wellness of the performing artist. Two of her recent articles, “Prevention Not Intervention: Stewarding Healthier Singers into University Musical Theatre Programs” and “Unique Vulnerabilities for the Musical Theatre Performer” are currently in publication.
