Hello, my name is Rossy and I am a native Spanish speaker born in Santo,  Domingo Dominican Republic and raised in Maryland USA. I currently live in the lovely World Heritage of Santo Domingo Dom Rep. I have certifications for teaching Spanish from the Universidad autónoma de Santo Domingo, as well as a degree in psychology from the NYU. 

I enjoy traveling, reading, and going to the movies. I would love to share my passion for Dominican culture and the Spanish language with you.

I studied with Rossy for 6 months and she is one of the best Spanish instructors I've ever had. It's really easy to discuss a wide range of topics with her because she is extremely open minded and shows genuine interest in me as a person. Her experience with English/Spanish interpretation also makes it easier to learn how to convey specific terms or ideas that you might get stuck on during the lessons. I highly recommend her to all students, but especially to advanced level or heritage speakers because it's often difficult to find instructors that can really teach efficiently beyond the beginner and intermediate levels.
