Composition with Peyton D.

Peyton is a San Francisco based Composer and Pianist. As a featured artist at the Wintergreen Music Festival his works were premiered and recorded by Erin Freeman and the Wintergreen Symphony Orchestra. His Aria for Solo Cello was premiered by Sara Kapps and his song cycle 5 Twain Songs was recorded by vocalist Erica Meyers and Tyler Ono, he was recently commissioned by Jon Lee to write "Bagatelle", and his string quartet "Bealtaine" was premiered by the GRAMMY-winning Telegraph Quartet. After studying with composer Daron Hagen, Peyton began studying with GRAMMY-winning composer Mason Bates at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he also studies piano with Alla Gladysheva. Peyton is also a frequent collaborative pianist.
