Pecos was the winner of the 2016 Baroque Concerto Competition at the San Francisco Conservatory and has performed on baroque and modern instruments across the US, the Czech Republic, Italy and Austria. Pecos has recorded for the Naxos label as a Fellow at the National Orchestral Institute and collaborated with the SFCM Baroque Ensemble in a recording project with contemporary composer Mason Bates for the world premier of Auditorium with the San Francisco Symphony. A finalist in the Coeur d'Alene National Young Artists Competition, Pecos is a previous recipient of the Carlsen Cello Foundation.

Pecos is a wonderful teacher. Very patient. Has excellent tips to accelerate the learning process. Customizes the classes to achieve my personal goals. I previously took cello years ago and got frustrated. Now I am 67 years old and his teaching recommendations have enabled me to accel far beyond where I quit last time.
