I have found Music and the guitar to be powerful tools for self discovery, healing, and expression and it is part of my mission to enable other's to effectively use these tools for themselves. This can seem overwhelming at first, however, recognize that it starts with simply picking up an instrument - or even just allowing yourself to be curious about the possibility of 'what if?' You could be coming to this for any reason. It doesn't matter if your reason has nothing to do with what I've said above; I will show you how to play guitar. It's up to you to learn how to play and it's up to you to decide how you will use your knowledge. It's also up to you to decide how we go about the learning process. I tend to teach through a combination of learning and working through songs the student likes while introducing different scale fingerings, chords, and exercises involving both to provide the student with a framework with which they can improvise and play. That being said, I'm good at adapting to different learning styles and can adjust to each individual.
