From beginner and beyond, I can help a student start with almost no experience and take them to a proficient level to where they can play complete pieces from memory. Sight reading, scales, repertoire, and chords are emphasized the most during lessons in this genre. I teach students songs, technique, music theory, strumming patterns, fretboard organization, improvisation in Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Bluegrass. I also work with Contemporary Christian Worship artists and songwriters, as well as Worship Leaders. I have 30 years experience playing, 20 years experience teaching, and over 10 years experience in Christian Worship music. I also have twenty years experience performing and studying Classical Guitar. Ear training is also very important to me. I have innovative ways of helping students learn faster and more efficiently using something called Deliberate Practice. Deliberate practice, also know as Deep practice is based on the latest neuroscience research based on how our brains process new information.
