As someone who enjoys learning foreign languages, I understand how difficult pronunciation can be. Our accents can affect our ability to relay a message and our ability to speak confidently. On the other hand, they are intertwined with our cultural identity. The goal of accent modification is not to eliminate the accent, but to provide the tools to achieve effective communication. I am fluent in English 🇺🇸 and Spanish 🇲🇽 and can help you modify your accent in either language! The ideal candidate for accent modification is fluent in the target language, as sessions will not cover grammar or vocabulary. I use evidence-based practice to teach you effectively and with proven methods. Together we'll work through learning the sounds of the language, learning word-stress, and learning intonation patterns. Our first session will be dedicated to evaluating your unique speech patterns, and each session thereafter will focus on target practice based on your evaluation results.
