During her violin study at the Tokyo University of the Arts, she earned her music teaching certificate for middle and high schools in Japan (中学校及び高等学校教諭専修免許状). She finished New York Japan Society’s Japanese-language Teacher Training Program (Introductory level) in December 2020, same program with intermediate level in March 2021. Maya also has 10 years of experience for tutoring Japanese language, offering private lessons to students of all ages. Her Japanese lessons cover everything from vocabulary and grammar, to culture, custom, and fun conversation of course!
