Piano with Mark M.

I have been teaching piano for 15 years, playing for 20, and my playing experience includes that I played in a duo and as part of a trio for 4 years for bars, weddings, parties and music events in southern California playing mostly jazz chords and improv on modern and jazz drum beats. In lessons with me my students generally learn how to play songs, beautiful jazz and pop chords from the first lesson, soloing scales, how to improvise, music reading/theory, rhythm, and how to overcome any blocks to their creativity. What I can teach includes playing pop songs, jazz standards, a cocktail piano style, jazz hip hop, and a classical improv style.
