I am a singer-songwriter and an elementary school teacher. I have a minor in Music that was obtained from Miami Dade College. As a student I never forgot how important it was to develop an ear in music. Developing an ear opens the door to many aspects of the musical realm. It makes the basics much more feasible as a student. I believe in teaching the basics first to develop a foundational skill level and build upon it. Each player has their own style and technique and I always express that everyone learning an instrument should pay attention to the sounds they make on the instruments. That sound could well be their style flourishing. In the University I studied video production in which I have over 5 years' experience in creating videos and using software that is used to produce video clips and enhance audio. I have done Music videos for clients and as I teach my students, I encourage for them to develop originality in their craft so they can strengthen their presence and enrich their confidence. My goal is to help students succeed in learning the guitar and have fun becoming a guitarist. I, myself, like all genres of music and enjoy 90s indie rock.
