Piano with Lisa S.

Lisa has been teaching and performing music in the Hampton Roads area for more than 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from Old Dominion University in 2009 and since then, she has taught in public and private schools as well as private and small group lessons. Lisa is a former member of the 380th Army Reserve band, where she was a featured vocalist and piccolo soloist. She has performed with many large community bands in the area, and also in smaller ensembles for weddings and ceremonies. Lisa has also performed at Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. When she’s not teaching or performing music, Lisa enjoys spending time with the family she is a nanny for. She also loves to go out to hear and support other local musicians.
