Enjoy learning math with Laura
I have been teaching math for 33 years and I really love helping people to learn. I regularly teach high school student college calculus, linear algebra and discrete math. I enjoy helping kids of my friends with their math as well. I have been working with students in third, fourth and eighth grade. I enjoy seeing young people's confidence grow as I help take them from where they are to the next level of understanding.

I have a great amount of enthusiasm in helping people learn math. Since everyone is different in how they approach a problem, I like to find out what a student is thinking and move on from there. I love to help build a student's confidence. I enjoy helping my friends' kids to overcome their difficulties. I am working with a third, fourth and eighth grader and have helped them to build their skill set.

My 16 year-old daughter is very shy and has had trouble finding a tutor she feels comfortable working with, but she loved working with Laura! They covered more material than expected, and my daughter went into her final math test this morning more confident than I have seen her in a long time. It is such a relief to know Laura can help her as she moves into Pre-cal and Calculus.

My son who is autistic and in college was struggling with his classes, math being one of them. His last tests up to getting Laura's help he failed. First my son loved Laura and he has issues dealing with new people. With her help Joseph passed his last test and his final exam both with 98's. He wasn't stressing anymore about the class and seemed confident going into both tests. Laura communicated with us about Joseph and if my daughter who is going to college next year has an issue I would hope Laura is still teaching on this site. Thank You Laura.

Laura is a great tutor! I went in knowing nothing about Calculus and a week later I a ready for my midterm! She is very patient with her students would definitely use her again! 10/10 recommend!
