    Hi there, welcome to my page! ESL lessons with me are unique because I tailor each class to student's interests, needs and goals. Classes are interactive and hands-on. We will learn in the methodology that the student learns best. I encourage students to practice outside of our lessons together and will provide audios and other suggestions. I am open to feedback and any requests from students.

    Hi there! My name is Kara and I am passionate about creating and teaching interactive and engaging English and Spanish classes. I am a certified ESL teacher through the University of Toronto and I majored in Spanish at the University of Missouri. I have 5 years experience teaching and 4 years experience teaching virtually while living in Latin America. My classes are formed around each unique student's interests, goals and needs. I view learning as teamwork and am receptive to any suggestions the student has. I hope to hear from you soon!

    Kara is a wonderful instructor! She is working with my son who is in a dual language program and she has a true knack for kids and how to help them learn. She is also super flexible when we have to adjust appointments. Highly recommend !!

    Kara is a wonderful tutor who takes time to explain "why" certain words are used. She also sends homework and resources for review. Over my first few sessions I have learned a lot from her!
