Guitar with Josh L.

I have been playing guitar for 15 years, have played in three bands local to my hometown, and have had several instructors along the way, as I like to maintain a state of constant improvement. I am new to teaching so I will try to reflect that with my prices. I mainly "specialize" in electric guitar, but I don't entirely like separating electric from acoustic, conceptually, they fall under the same umbrella, and I can teach both. My favorite genres to learn and teach are mainly Rock and Metal, with any and all sub-genres that fall under those. The aim for my students is to be relaxed, and stress free, but most of all fun. we'll approach learning how to apply technique and theory with a goal-oriented lesson plan built specifically for each individual student. In short, tell me what your favorite song is, and we'll break it down step by step until you can play it. After you can play that song, you will have great foundational skills that you can use for learning anything else! I will answer any questions you have, or help you through any "road bumps" that you run into along the way. I am absolutely stoked to start learning with you!
