My name is Jiajun and I am a linguistics fanatic. I provide tailored tutoring to people interested in learning either Cantonese or Mandarin (Chinese). I learned the language from an English speaking background. I can relate on all levels when tackling this challenging endeavor. I also provide cultural insight into our customs and etiquette. Thus, the achievement of my students is my primary focus. Additionally, it is my life's passion to help people succeed. This is a great supplemental practice opportunity if you or your children are currently enrolled in a Mandarin Chinese course of study. Consequently, I go above and beyond what you would expect to ensure your success. These would include answering phone calls if you have a concern, meeting for last-minute lessons on Friday evenings, or also responding to texts at any time of the day. I also teach the upright bass. I have been playing the double bass for 19 years. I have had success in helping my students achieve high grades in their playing tests, getting into their dream orchestras, and testing for chamber orchestra.
