Tuba with James B.

James is a Graduate of Towson University and is a current Director of Bands. During his time at Towson University, Mr. James has played with the newly formed Symphonic Band under the direction of Brian Balmages, a successful composer and arranger. Mr. James has also had the amazing opportunity to play in the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Christopher Cicconi. During Mr. James's time at Towson University, Mr. James received extensive training in both Choral and Instrumental Instruction, along with countless hours of playing his primary instrument of Tuba. Mr. James's time at Towson University provided exponential educational growth, both as a learner and an educator.Prior to attending Towson University, Mr. James attended the College of Southern Maryland and earned an Associates degree in Secondary Education, Music, and General Studies. Mr. James played with Solid Brass, Souther Maryland Concert Band, and Ritmo Caché, and also was a Marching Band Staff Member.
