I structure my lessons around whatever you want to learn. I can teach you most genres of music as well as how to play songs,  grooves, fills, and improvise. I have systems for learning each of these things and more that I go through with my student depending on what they want to learn. My goal is to give my students the tools they need to achieve whatever they desire on the drums, whether that be chops, groove, different genres, or technique.

Hello, my name is Jacob! I have been playing drums for most of my life and have experience playing live shows as well as being in the studio! You can hear me playing drums on Remnant of a Loss's album, "Panic", as well as on my YouTube channel! I am currently a student at Berklee and have studied with some of the greatest drummers in the world! My main genre is rock/metal but I have also played numerous jazz gigs, and funk/hip hop music. I am very passionate about the art of drumset and will put my all into every second of each lesson to help all of my students become the best they can be!

Great Lesson. Focused on bass drum technique and building stamina. 

Excellent lesson.  Jacob is well-informed and super friendly.  He adapted the lesson plan to exactly what I'm trying to learn and laid out a plan for the next session.  

Shane is very much enjoying his drums lessons, thanks to Jacob. We appreciated Jacob’s attention to detail when it came to the set-up of the drums, and his flexibility when we need to reschedule. All in all, Jacob is a wonderful teacher!
