With more than decade of online and in-person teaching experience, I have honed my skills in personal and classroom instruction. For languages instruction, my courses are immersive and interactive, emphasizing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Whether it's Chinese, or Japanese, I will take reading as the core content to enhance understanding and communication skills. In mathematics, my approach focuses on addressing key and challenging concepts. I have successfully tutored my students for national and international competitions like AMC-8, 10, 12, Math League, and Mathcounts, and have also provided comprehensive tutoring for SAT/ACT Math, as well as AP, IB, and A-Level Math courses. My teaching philosophy involves using a "comparative approach," which I find particularly effective in helping students make connections between different areas of study, thereby promoting a deeper understanding.
