I am a drummer based in New York and the founder of the music group “Caribbo.” Originally from Suriname, I honed my musical skills there before pursuing further studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Throughout my career as a professional musician, I have had the privilege of recording and performing with a diverse range of artists, including notable names such as Harry Belafonte and Angelique Kidjo. My musical style is characterized by the incorporation of traditional rhythms from various cultures worldwide. One of my primary objectives is to impart this knowledge to my students, emphasizing their preferred music genres while equipping them with essential technical skills. I am dedicated to helping aspiring musicians enhance their craft and look forward to the opportunity to work with you on your musical journey.
