Music Performance with Eric A.

Eric has been teaching the Great Highland Bagpipes for over 30 years including several years of in person instruction at the prestigious Shedd Music Institute in Eugene Oregon. Assisting casual players wishing to learn pipes for their own personal enjoyment or players who want to achieve the highest competitive levels in both solo and band performance. Eric's approach and calm demeanor make him an ideal choice for this extremely challenging instrument. Career highlights include piping in the American and European teams at the Opening ceremonies of the 1995 Ryder Cup Golf Tournament, US Open at Pinehurst Country Club, played with and for celebrities such as Ewan Mc Gregor and Sean Connery, and well known Celtic bands Enter the Haggis, Flogging Molly, The Dady Brothers, Seven Nations and many more. Eric has organized and led the pipe, drum and highland dance performances together with rounding up athletes for the annual Highland Fling Celtic weekend at the Renaissance Faire in Sterling, New York for over 25 years.
