Math with Emily M.

I am a Registered Radiologic Technologist (x-ray taker), Adjunct Faculty (sometimes teacher), and Professional Tutor (nerd) with a lifelong love of learning (especially in math and science). As an honors graduate from both high school and college, I know what it takes to be a successful student. My passion for learning fueled my desire to help others learn the skills I honed over years in education. Lovingly referred to as a "Super Tutor" by my colleagues, I've spent the last decade becoming a master of my craft. My goal is not just to leave you with a better understanding of the material, but to help you become an independent learner, able to self-correct, problem-solve, and think critically all on your own. Math can be intimidating for lots of students, but with my vocab building, step-by-step approach (not to mention lots and lots of practice problems) many students realize it just works out to be a mind-over-math-er situation 😉.
