English (ESL) with Christine H.

My name is Christine and I am from Suffolk, Virginia. I tutor students who want to learn English as a second language. I am certified in TEFL/TESOL and Business English. I am currently working for my certification in English for Academic Purposes. I have a bachelor's degree in business management from Virginia Wesleyan College. I am passionate about helping my students achieve their goals. I know the goal of every student is to be fluent in English, but I like to find out what is the student's motivation for becoming fluent in English. Then I tailor the lessons around the student's goals. It keeps the lessons interesting, and students are willing to participate in finding material they want to discuss or suggest topics to build a lesson around. It keeps the student engaged and learning.
