Hi there! I've been playing flute for over 20 years and I'm crazy enthusiastic about teaching new musicians to love it as much as I do! In lessons with me, we will be a little silly. I like to play games and laugh and make music a fun experience for everyone. Don't get me wrong - we do work hard and we reach goals like it's no one's business. Not only do you get to learn the fundamentals of playing flute, but I also integrate music theory training and music history into lessons. We work in a mindful way, incorporating body learning and mindfulness into lessons so we can take away valuable life skills, including injury prevention, mindful observation, confidence building, and stress management.
