    Professional Actor, Dedicated Coach

Professional Auditions, College BFA Auditions, Any and Every Audition! Preparation is paramount to maximizing your audition experiences. Building an audition skill set and tool box that works, specifically for you, is vital. If you're being asked to perform monologues, finding material that resonates with you is key. If you are auditioning with a specific set of sides for a specific character, being able to break down that material and make effective choices is essential. Developing a healthy mindset regarding auditions is a game-changer. I'm a professional actor of thirty-plus years, a member of SAG-AFTRA and Equity, and hold a BFA and MFA in Acting. Looking forward to working with you!

In addition to holding an MFA in Acting from New York University, I have been fortunate to work in theater (Broadway, Off- Broadway), television (Heroes, Everybody Loves Raymond, Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, Secret Circle, Law and Order, among others), and in film, including Steven Spielberg's Minority Report and Little Big League. Safety and respectful collaboration are the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I encourage a passion for play, self-discovery, and a willingness to see yourself as an artist who has the power to affect change in our world. Every experience along the way is a valuable stepping stone. Every teacher, class, director, fellow actor, and audition has provided me with another opportunity to learn and to grow as a storyteller and human being. I've learned to convert the "no thank you's" into opportunity and the "yes's" into fuel! Whether you are a professional or a beginner, a student prepping college/grad school auditions or someone who simply wants to explore their creativity, I look forward to working with you!

Our first class was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Ashley. The experience was so much better than I had even hoped for. It gave us an incredible amount of clarity about how we should present ourselves and prepare for an upcoming project. We will continue to use Ashley for the next 6 weeks to continue preparation. I would give 10 starts if I could.
