I am a professional singer, actor, voiceover actor, and vocal coach. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I've taught private vocal lessons since 2010 and have worked with over 300 students with ages ranging from 7 years old to 78. I focus on Legit, Traditional Musical Theatre, Contemporary Musical Theatre, Classical/Opera, Jazz, and Pop singing styles. There is no secret to singing - it comes from a lot of hard work and the desire to learn to sing with correct technique. Years ago (after having sung with less than stellar vocal technique), I was put on vocal rest for three months (no talking, singing, nada, zip!) during which my vocal folds healed. I then had to completely rebuild my voice from the ground up. I am passionate about teaching correct vocal technique the first time around! I love hearing a student say, "That was easy!" Yes! Singing can be easy when you learn how to do it correctly. These light-bulb moments are my favorite as a student discovers their own unique voice.
