I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation in sight reading, technique and music theory. I may follow a lesson book when teaching beginners but I also teach how to improvise and how to use other methods of learning music such as learning by ear or using chords.

I’m a piano and voice teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching students between the ages of 5 and 85. I’m passionate about helping people find their voice and create music for FUN. As someone who worked for years building up the courage to express myself and create music with ease, I understand how hard it can be to take that leap. I bring a playful approach to lessons and I constantly remind my students that we should focus on being the best versions of ourselves to create music that we are most passionate about. Whether you’re someone who is just picking up the piano (not literally), learning to sing for the first time, or revisiting these instruments after many years of not playing, I can help you reach your goals by designing unique lessons that cater to your learning style.
