Learn piano from a master pianist: very experienced music industry pro / touring pro

I've been playing piano for 32 years, and I can teach anyone how to play the piano. We will work towards playing and performing full songs by building skills like sight-reading, music theory, ear-training, proper hand technique, and more. I have a lot of experience on piano as a player, songwriter, producer, and touring musician. I know how to operate all of the other types of keyboards as well like organ, synth, rhodes, etc. Piano is very special to me, and I've played it all my life. Let me show you how much fun it can be!

A.J. has been playing piano for 32 years, and he has been singing for 17 years. He has also been working in the music industry as a professional performer for 20 years. He has worked and toured with bands such as: ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, The Bright Light Social Hour, and Scorpion Child. A.J. can teach a wide range of keyboard skill sets: organ, piano, rhodes, analog synths, digital synths, software synths, Ableton Live, midi setup and routing, music production, beat making, and more. A.J. is a professional vocalist, and can teach traditional vocal training. A.J. can teach songwriting, music production, music arrangement, and how to be in and operate a touring rock band. A.J. has a wide range of experience in the industry, so he can teach anyone how to go beyond their instrument, and develop their music into a professional career.

As a cover band player untrained in piano or organ, all of my skills need improving--rock organ soloing, fingering and chording techniques, patch selection, and more. AJ has been able to help me with all of that. He's patient and has tons of touring experience. That's especially valuable to me as a live performer. Highly recommended!
