Please allow me to introduce myself, Well, I am a 43 years old Indian pedagogue of English literature and language, with great panache for teaching in an alma mater where one gets work ethics, motivation, team spirit and challenges to excel further in a convivial milieu. At present, teaching IGCSE First Language English (0500) and English Literature (0475) at Champions Group (Bangalore/ Dubai) along with DP (SL) since April, 2022. In connection to my present role this coming April, I'll attend marking workshops of both 0500 and 0475 paper codes. Owing to diagnosis of Covid 19 positive state and the consequential aftermath in 2020/21, I barely found an opportunity at par with my profile and last pay. Hence, took up this a la mode enterprise. My last assignment was with Vibgyor High, Harluru, Bangalore as a specialist subject teacher of English literature and language. Prior to this, I worked as Senior English Teacher in the IGCSE and IBDP sections at Greenwood High, Bangalore since May, 2019. In 2018/19 session, I trained the ICSE and ISC students of Chrysalis High, Bangalore who consequently scored high percentage of marks in both language and literature papers. Hitherto part of my teaching career, I worked as HOD English at Stephens International Public School, Jammu in 2017/18, incorporating teaching students of senior classes and training as well as burgeoning English Faculty members in English Language and Literature Teaching. Formerly, I taught IGCSE, AS and A Level students under Cambridge International Examinations, now, CAIE. Soon after accomplishing post-graduation degree in English Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2005, I was absorbed in IBM [International Business Machine] through campus interview where I served few international clients like British Airways, Citi Bank etc.. But gradually I was disenchanted with my service and therefore, as a result, dispersed into pedagogy. Later on, I taught English literature and language with impeccable panache in the ISC and ISCE sections of St. Xavier’s School, a Jesuit Institution and during my tenure of 7 years acted as a catalyst to raise their various aptitudes towards academic excellence. Having imbued with the elan in English language, I’ve always endeavoured to inculcate the art of discourse in my pupils. At the outset, teaching with a child-centred innovative approach to make the child a creative thinker, overall implanting with aplomb the consequential message of cognizance among all the children of the institution. Afterwards I joined Don Bosco School, a Salecian Institution and successfully executed the same role in the ISC and ICSE sections. In addition to academic excellence, I also instilled the lessons of elocution, debating and quizzing in my fledgling learners which I had avidly learned as a pupil myself. Being an affluent sportsperson, nurtured the different sporting disciplines of the curriculum. Besides being humane enough to all and sundry, I'm a perennial learner which is unquestionably inspired by Virgil’s “Aeneid” “Moniti Meliora Sequamur” which suggests "Having Been Advised, We Follow Better (Higher) Things".
