Hey there! I've been performing music for as long as I remember. (I used to give concerts for all the family gatherings!) I've been formally performing in music for over 30 years. Patient, kind and effective teacher

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Robert! We've worked together for over a year and I can say my voice has improved as well as secondary benefits like my breathing. What I love about Robert is how he teaches, he helps my confidence, courage and faith in my abilities. In my work I use my voice everyday, often I am speaking in front of a large crowd. The lessons have really helped with speech, volume and enunciation. BTW I do all my lesson with Skype, which I believe is a great way to do it.

Great teacher!

I took guitar lessons from Rob for 3 1/2 years when he lived in Atlanta. I learned a lot from him and really enjoyed our lessons. He's a great teacher and I would still be taking lessons with him if he lived here!

Liesl is a wonderful guitar teacher, knowledgeable, and works well with new students--such as myself. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to know the basics to more in-depth musical guitar knowledge.

Liesl easily imparts her love for music to her students.

Liesl interacted well with our 9 year old granddaughter. She kept her on point and interested in learning the various skills necessary for a new student to sight read music. Our granddaughter had had three previous teachers who gave in to her excuses for not sticking to task or practcing. Liesel is upbeat about music and imparts that to her students.
Alyssa C. Annapolis, MD

With degrees in voice from Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Indiana University, I am a classical soprano, however I love to teach all genres of music! With students of all ages, my focus is on a healthy pedagogy and on a fun, technical approach. It's all about the breath! I have been teaching since 2004, in each lesson we will focus on body work, technical training, ear training, and repertory work. I look forward to meeting you!

About Alyssa

Music is a calling, it chooses you. I once had Marilyn Horne in a private lesson tell me that if music isn't what I think of first upon waking and last before falling asleep, I should find another job! Singing is what has always fulfilled me and sharing that with others, helping them find the power of their unique instrument and fall in love with the art form is what lights me up inside.
