First thing I do before first day of class is send out a welcoming greeting via email and call a few days before first lesson. We Briefly discuss and establishing the learning goals for the course based on the visual literacy, technical, and intellectual competencies the students should achieve by the end of a period is ideal for me to design the course or update an existing course for the student's desired outcomes. The syllabus and the schedule are completed along with a comprehensive strategy for what will take place during class. Music lessons include: warm ups, exercises, technical and theory work, solfeggio (sight-singing), ear training, repertoire musical coaching, composition writing, preparation for performances and more.

I am blessed to have the ability to bring out the best in my students through my attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency.
I have a big experience teaching students all levels and ages. My goal is to keep the joy of music making for each and every student, but also to make sure you learn and advance after each lesson. I would happily work with you on the music you want, combining it with the specific piano techniques you need to have in order to play the instrument well.
I have been teaching violin from young children to beginner adults for 10 years. I also teach piano for beginner and intermediate levels. I believe that the the music potential comes through discipline, self-motivation and passion. As a teacher, my goal is to get to know each of my students and create individually tailored lessons according to my student's needs and goals. I believe that a strong technical foundation is a key in music making - when a student feels comfortable playing the instrument , they find how much they are capable of doing and what a great joy is this music making process. This is why I put a strong emphasis on the technical aspects. They say "practice makes perfect", but in reality only perfect practice makes your playing perfect, in other words, my goal as a teacher, is to give my students all the right tools to
succeed, when after each lesson you feel you improved your playing and gained new skills, even if its a small one. Lessons are taught using a Traditional method refer to students learning to read music. Whereas the Suzuki Method students learn by ear which I (might) use for very young students age 3-5. For older students I use certain aspects of the Suzuki method but definitely incorporate basic theory and note reading as early as possible. All students will have the opportunity and are encouraged to perform in recitals.
Great violin instructor. She is very patient and persistent in helping to achieve the next level in mastering the violin.

Kseniya is patient, but also pushes my daughter to actually learn how to read music. I'm very pleased after 3 lessons.

My son is 11 and never had a music lesson of any kind before. He had fun learning the basic fundamentals that she is so passionate about.
She is really patient and fun to be around. Great environment for anyone of any age.
We learn the basics of technic, lesson songs, and theory using the classical approach. We have fun through music games, and special challenge assignments where my students earn rewards in various creative ways. This applies to all ages, particularly to the younger students.
I love music and teaching musical instruments to others so that they can enjoy music too! I enjoy teaching all ages and have 40 years of experience teaching my instruments.
I started playing violin at age 10 and within two years I was performing solos on stage. At age 14, I was invited to be guest soloist for community orchestras and the regional symphony. I liked being excused from school for these performances and by age 16, I was given a scholarship for early entrance to college. I had a violin performance major with a piano, viola, cello minor.
I teach to the individual needs of each student and we can go as fast or slow as we need to in the learning process. I teach various styles of music, such as classical, celtic, wedding songs, fiddling, and praise & worship.
In my career, besides teaching, I have played in the citywide symp
hony and some community orchestras. I have directed a community string orchestra and other musicals for children. I have ensemble experience with duets, trios, quartets and string ensembles, also.
I have traveled to 16 countries and taught music to students around the world in international schools and churches.
Join me in a fun and exciting time of focused learning.
Feel free to ask any questions you would like and I will get back with you! Miss Jennifer Underwood
For classical lessons, we will always start with scales and finger exercises, then move into level appropriate classical music in a variety of styles (Romantic, Baroque, even some 20th century). As always, the choices of pieces will be reflective of the student’s preference.
Hello, future pianists! My name is Mandie (or Miss Mandie, as my younger students call me). I have been playing the piano for twenty years, and I’ve been teaching since high school, over 12 years ago! I received my bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Cornerstone University, but teaching has always been my first love. Teaching piano is so much fun for me; during the lessons we joke around and have so much fun, my students usually don’t even realize how much they are learning. For my youngest students, we dance and color and sing right alongside learning piano. I want my students to have a good foundation and knowledge of the piano, but I want them to enjoy the process. That being said, for those of you who are looking for a more traditional education, I have a very deep knowledge of classical piano and training so I will gladly put
away my crayons and teach that sort of lesson! If any of this sounds like something you or your child would resonate with, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Mandie is very accommodating and includes the parent in weekly conversations. She is very patient with my daughter who loves the piano but has ADHD. She has worked with my daughter for two years now and we just want her to enjoy music. Her recital duet was by far the best act! It was unique and captured my daughter love to be different!
Mandie’s ability to engage and not discourage my daughter makes my heart happy.
Mandie is very accommodating with scheduling and makeups. Whether you are interested in competition level piano or just the love of music Mandie is the right teacher for you.

Experienced teacher of 23 years. I have taught people of all ages and abilities. I love piano and have been playing all of my life. Recently married and moved to Amarillo, TX so had to give up my studio in El Paso. I love teaching and seeing my students progress in their technical skills and knowledge of music theory, music history and most importantly seeing their love for music grow.
I am a newlywed 34 year old piano and English teacher from El Paso, TX. I’ve been teaching for 23 years and it is something I really enjoy doing. Several of my students have gone on to major in music in college and some have even become teachers themselves. I enjoy teaching all styles but truly classical is my favorite.
With ten years of teaching experience, I’ve learned which skills to emphasize most for beginners to become lifelong, independent musicians. A focus on music literacy and love of the instrument has my students reading (and PLAYING) in no time! Each lesson is tailored to individual goals and interests, and I take a creative approach with everything we do!

in teaching practical piano to aspiring singers has caused Vanessa to examine what skills are necessary for anyone to become a self-sufficient, life-long musician. Whether you’re learning as a hobby or in hopes of a future career, music literacy and expression are at the top of the list. Miss Vanessa emphasizes both from the very beginning with motivating joy and a creative approach.
Equally comfortable with children and adults from complete beginners to early advanced levels, Vanessa teaches piano, voice, and combined piano and voice lessons. She feels so grateful to be a part of her students’ musical journey!
Piano lessons are so much fun! The piano is a wonderful instrument because you can be successful on it and even play a song by the end of your first lesson. I like to tailor my lessons to each student’s personality, learning style, and what they hope to accomplish on their instrument. Lessons are always fun and if you put in the hard work there is no doubt you will go far!
Hey there! I’m Rachael and I LOVE teaching music. I have been playing the violin and piano for two decades now and teaching for almost as long. I attended the University of Georgia and earned my Bachelor’s degree in music education in 2011. I have taught general music, middle and high school orchestra, and have most recently focused my attention on teaching private lessons. I really enjoy one on one time with my students. It allows me to figure out the best and most effective way to help YOU! I generally teach from a set curriculum for violin and piano but I am open to incorporating music that you may want to learn. I like to keep my lessons light and fun so expect to hear some bad jokes and share a few laughs. You get out of lessons what you put into them. Practice outside of lessons is a must to keep things rolling along. I hope to conn

"I took piano lessons with Daniela for 4 years. It was a very valuable experience. Daniela is not only very passionate about music, but is also an extraord
