Self expression through art is an amazing experience. It's personal on all levels.

The most fabulous thing about being an artist is that boundaries regarding creativity are non-existent. The artist is always in a state of learning. Art is a progressive practice that takes time to develop.

Materials are not included.
Materials needed are pencil, paper and a willingness to explore.

Drawing lessons will be assessed based on the individual's current abilities and their goals.
Ages 9+

Note:
For virtual sessions, the student will need to create a conducive workspace that will allow teacher/student viewing of art work in progress. The student will need a workspace with lots of light. Often, I will ask to see the students progress, so that I may be able critique and give advise on their work in progress.

For short-term sessions (virtual or in-person), the teacher and student will collaborate and determine how the student will get the most out of their session(s).

About Sharron

In my sessions, I am more than a teacher, I am a mentor and a counselor, I promote positive energy for positive outcomes. I am the Artist behind JFA Studio in Baltimore, Maryland. However, my resume includes graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts and continued studies at the Maryl

I have been teaching professionally for more than 10 years. I can teach a total beginner and I guarantee a profound change in terms of his skill level after 2 months of an attentive following of my instructions. I like to watch the progress of my student and this is what brings me the best satisfaction in my occupation.
I think that every human being is unique with his own unique way of thinking and perception of common things. When teaching, I believe in dialogue, for this reason, I never record my lessons on video, except for the promotional needs. I like to meet new students, to understand their way of thinking and to invent the individual teaching approach or methodology for each one of them.

About Danil

I am an academically trained professional artist with the overall working experience of about 20 years and an impressive record of exhibitions (two of them are museum one-man shows) in the USA and abroad. I am teaching in three languages: ENGLISH, HEBREW and RUSSIAN, representational, realist,

I was very lucky to take private lessons with Danil - after only a few of them I had a clear systematic approach to my drawing process. I very much appreciate analytical way of work in art, and that’s what Danil was doing greatly : he sharpens the tools while keeping your individuality. Highly recommended!

I believe drawing is an essential skill just like reading and writing. Learning to draw enables us to learn the visual language that so much of the world is made up of. My drawing lessons stem from an understanding of the cognitive shift needed to learn to draw and I help my students understand where it can be applied in life. In a short time, students will see their unique visual signature shine through and will have drawings that are intricate, detailed and unique. These lessons can also serve as a stepping stone to any other visual art field.

About Martita

I am a multi-faceted visual artist. As a drawer, painter, designer and photographer who began as a self-taught artist, I know what it is like to have a strong creative desire and how hard it can be to find a instructor who can help cultivate this passion. I graduated from Green River Collège with

"My classes with Professor McNeil were amazing. While her courses are not easy, they are extremely rewarding. She has an uncanny ability to make otherwise difficult techniques achievable, easy to understand and fun to practice. While taking her classes, through her way of teaching I wanted to paint more, draw more and felt confident to do it. I cannot dream up a better teacher, she is patient, inspiring, and pushes you to try new techniques in a way that you don't realise until you're practicing them. If you take her classes you'll only want to take more."
