*** Lesson Details ***
For most of us drummers and rhythmatists we cannot go an hour without banging something or tapping or humming or moving.. if this describes you or your child then Im the guy who would be delighted to foster your development in your lifelong pursuit of the ultimate beat. I cannot give you God given talent , but I can take what talent god has given you and accentuate the positive. Work with you on fundamentals, technique, timbre, timing, tuning, sight reading..the list goes on..Its a lifelong pursuit..How long you choose to pursue it is up to you.. Im here to be your mentor.

Im pretty laid back with teaching discipline. Either you got it or you dont. I cannot push you or force you into practicing.. You must inherently love music and love rhythm and love drumming or percussion. If I am working with you on Kit drumming you will be starting out with the basics unless you have experience. I normally do an assessment to determine where you are at.. If I am teaching you hand percussion or African or Asian based drums then its strictly an aural based learning experience. No books just memorization. Kit drumming will require either you have your own Drum kit if I am coming to your house or of you travel to my studio I will have 1 drum kit to share , but you must have your own sticks. I do employ books in Drum Kit lessons. I will give you the names of the books based on what I think your level is and we can go from there..

Music is a complex yet beautiful language. Once you are immersed in the culture of the beat your journey thus begins. And journeys like these last a lifetime. I hope I can be a part of your experience.

Many Blessings
One Rhythm
One Love

Lars N.

Duluth, GA

About Lars

Hey...my name is Lars and I am looking forward in teaching you guitar. I've been teaching guitar for about 5 years. I fully believe that anybody can learn to play well, if they work hard, stick with it and has the passion for it. Because I did. It took a lot of work for me and did not come easy. It's never easy, nor should it be, because a person is learning something real and not just pushing buttons. But the rewards of getting better are fantastic, a sense of accomplishment and confidence is being built as a result of that hard work. And of course it's really fun and in my opinion the best t
hing in the world.

About Amanda

I have been a professional performance coach for the last 15 years. I have trained students ages 3-16 to find their true vocal, acting and musical potential. I provide a very personalized lesson plan for each student, with appropriate warm ups, expert repertoire selection from both current and classic Broadway Shows, and handpicked audition cuts. I trained as an educator of theater with Kids On Stage in Los Angeles after receiving my BA in Musical Theater. New York, and the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean. My students have landed lead roles in musicals like Annie and Shrek. My husband and I run the performance company, K&A Theatricals, which is committed to producing cabarets, musicals, and cutting edge dramas. We share the stage with our students and give them the chance to shine with us and learn from us how to be professional performers.

My students have gone on to Broadway and enjoyed careers on TV. One of my students just starred as Matilda in the National Tour.

Amanda is an inspiring teacher who infuses confidence into her students helping them to believe that they can do it. She approaches all performances with creativity and originality. All the productions I have seen her direct have her distinct stamp. Not only is she a talented actress and singer in her own right but she is able to bring out the best in her students. I recommend her whole heartedly.

I took lessons my this gentlemen for three years 2012-2015 when I was stationed in Atlana ( Dobbins AFb) while in the military. I was interested in learning jazz, country and a little good old fashioned rock and roll. Jesse really met me at my particular skill level and adapted very quickly to my learning curve. I already had a basic knowledge of certain power chords--however, after just a few weeks I was already performing intricate arpeggios and sweeps that rivaled the best of them. I learned very quickly but that had more to do with his level of sensitivity as an instructor and as a friend. Unfortunately, I am back in Texas as of a few months ago however, I am already able to reach my other close musician friends what I learned under Jesse's tutelage. Thanks Mr. Mongillo
