As my piano student, you will learn so much! I do not work from traditional "cookie cutter" methods; each lesson is customized to take advantage of your own unique interests and abilities. Even if you are just starting out, you will quickly move beyond basic note reading to mastering popular sheet music by your favorite artists in your favorite genres. You will also have the opportunity to explore vocal accompaniment, improvisation, and/or playing the real piano parts along with recordings of your favorite songs. I hold a B.M. degree from Berklee College of Music and I have been teaching piano and performing throughout southern New England for more than three decades. I look forward to helping you achieve your musical goals and dreams on the piano!

I have been teaching piano to a wide variety of ages at several different levels for over eight years. I have a wholistic approach to learning classical piano, incorporating theory and music history into my teaching style. Because my degree is in piano, voice, and chorale conducting, I have a unique opportunity to relate several different ideas to the piano.
