As a new student, there is nothing better than learning to make music. There isn't a better instrument to learn on because it is inexpensive, portable and honestly so much fun!
Believe it or not, you can make a great deal of progress with a little bit of time each day. Once I decided to pick it up as regularly as I could, even if it was literally only 5 minutes, it was clear I was on the right path.
I started when I was 50 having never played an instrument before which has helped me teach others understanding all of the challenges of learning to play.
Sharing the ukulele with my friends and family helped me realize how much I wanted to share it with others. What could be better than sharing the joy of making music?
I hope to see you soon!

His flexible teaching style was responsive to my musical growth and interests. As we went, Andy sprinkled in some easy to understand music theory. I learned a lot of my favorite songs (including several out of the mainstream). He worked with me to adapt songs written for guitar to banjo. He also helped me to pick quality instruments that were right for me and my budget.
Highly recommend!

Learning to play the Ukulele is so much fun! Young and old alike enjoy being able to play chords in just a few short lessons to favorite songs. This instrument is especially great for little ones- it's a great starter to string instruments of all types. You can find an inexpensive but good quality Ukulele at most music stores. I teach chords, rhythm and individual note reading so students enjoy themselves while learning to read music!

Well, fingerstyle ukulele refers to a particular style of playing which can be applied to any song. It primarily focuses on how you play your chords in the right hand.
