I am a Masters Degreed Educator who has been teaching for over 20+ years. I can provide you with lessons on proper technique, music theory, chords, scales, songwriting, and more. I currently teach with Guitar Center/Music Arts in the local area but I am looking for more students to fill out my schedule.

Hello! My name is Max Fletcher - I have been playing and teaching guitar for over 15 years. I recently graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music, where I studied Guitar Performance with Maestros Eliot Fisk and Joe Morris, and Composition with Stratis Minakakis. When teaching, I have always tried to provide a multi-faceted and multi-dimensional experience that encourages learning to take place on many levels simultaneously. Music making is a process that involves many technical, theoretical, practical, and even historical elements, and is not a linear progression but often more circular in nature. In my own practice I have always tried to let the music guide and inform me, and consequently the most important element of my teaching is the experience of the music itself.

I teach Flamenco guitar from the Traditional method Emilio Medina "Methodo De Guitarra Falmenca" This is a great study for learning all the Flamenco techniques right from the beginning. You will love this study. Come and enjoy real traditional Flamenco.

Transcend the instrument and be able to play with anything. Learn your favorite tunes by ear and on the guitar. That is what I focus on. From beginning rudiments all the way through completely breaking down and conceptualizing the fretboard.

I've been playing for 20 years and have studied jazz at Peabody Conservatory and Berklee College of Music. However, I have played in bluegrass, rock, funk, hip hop and klezmer bands, as well.

I try to create an individual approach for each student because every person learns uniquely. I work with people on skills that apply to music at large, as well as the guitar 🎸. My goal is to help a student learn how to learn on their own, and provide the tools to do so.
